W-Labs Killer is a randomized horror encounter resource for Qbox, QBCore, ESX, and standalone FiveM servers. It quietly selects an online player, sends them an anonymous message, and directs them to a remote meeting location with one instruction: come alone.

If the player follows the message, they will find a stranger and his van waiting for them. The killer may act friendly, spring an ambush, attack immediately, or flee to his vehicle before beginning a full pursuit.

Bringing friends changes the encounter completely. Everyone involved becomes marked, and the killer waits until each player is alone before returning for them individually.

Key Features

  • Anonymous Invitations

    • Randomly selects an eligible online player at configurable intervals.

    • Sends the selected player an anonymous message containing a remote meeting location.

    • Includes a one-tap GPS action that places a waypoint directly from the message.

    • Invitations automatically expire so abandoned encounters cannot block the system.

  • Randomized Killer Behavior

    • Encounters do not always follow the same sequence.

    • The killer can appear friendly, spring an ambush, attack immediately, or run for his vehicle when threatened.

    • Behavior selection uses configurable weights, allowing server owners to control how frequently each encounter style occurs.

    • Custom proximity dialogue begins naturally when the player approaches the killer.

  • Combat And Vehicle Pursuits

    • The killer can fight the player on foot using configurable weapons and combat settings.

    • If the player escapes in a vehicle, the killer can enter his van and pursue them through the city.

    • Longer pursuits can escalate to firearm use after a configurable amount of time.

    • Players can fight the killer, escape the encounter, or become the victim themselves.

  • Come Alone Consequences

    • Bringing friends does not simply cancel the encounter.

    • The invited player and nearby companions are marked after the killer realizes they did not arrive alone.

    • Each marked player is monitored individually until they are on foot and away from other players.

    • A retaliation encounter can then begin nearby without requiring the original group to remain together.

    • Target duration, isolation distance, encounter timing, and retaliation behavior are configurable.

  • Lootable Killer And Van

    • Defeated killers can be searched through ox_target.

    • Body loot supports configurable items, quantities, reward chances, currency, and metadata.

    • Searching the killer can reveal keys to his van based on a configurable chance.

    • The van can contain a separate configurable vehicle loot pool.

    • Servers can require the van to be unlocked before it can be searched.

  • Server-Validated Rewards

    • Encounter state, arrival checks, kills, body searches, vehicle searches, and reward claims are validated by the server.

    • Loot tokens and encounter ownership checks help prevent clients from requesting unauthorized rewards.

    • Body and vehicle rewards can only be claimed during valid encounters.

  • Extensive Configuration

    • Configure player requirements, selection intervals, invitation timeouts, and encounter duration.

    • Add custom meeting locations, coordinates, labels, and arrival distances.

    • Configure the killer model, outfit, health, armor, melee weapon, firearm, accuracy, and combat behavior.

    • Adjust dialogue distance, pursuit timing, escape distance, and firearm escalation.

    • Customize encounter behavior weights, body rewards, key chances, and vehicle rewards.

    • All player-facing messages and dialogue can be changed through locale files.

  • Framework And Inventory Support

    • Supports Qbox, QBCore, ESX, and standalone configurations.

    • Built-in inventory support includes ox_inventory, common QB/Qbox and ESX inventory flows, qs-inventory, ps-inventory, and tgiann-inventory.

    • Currency rewards are handled through the selected framework instead of being treated as inventory items.

    • A small editable inventory bridge is included for custom inventory systems.

  • Vehicle-Key Support

    • Built-in integrations cover qbx_vehiclekeys, qb-vehiclekeys, MrNewbVehicleKeys, Renewed Vehiclekeys, qs-vehiclekeys, cd_garage, and Wasabi car lock.

    • A small editable vehicle-key bridge is included for unsupported or custom systems.

  • Easy Testing

    • Includes an admin-only /killer command when debug mode is enabled.

    • Allows server owners to start a complete encounter for a specific player during installation and configuration.
