W-Labs Encounters adds four types of shared world encounters to your FiveM server: guarded roadside cargo, aircraft crashes, fleeing shop robbers, and armoured trucks.

A routine drive can turn into a cargo theft, a chase through the streets, or a dive to recover goods from a submerged aircraft. Encounters appear automatically near eligible players, giving people opportunities to discover while exploring your server.

Nearby players encounter the same vehicles, NPCs, and recoverable cargo. Each scene has a shared outcome, with server checks controlling who can interact and claim its rewards.

Key Features

Guarded Roadside Cargo

  • Discover parked vehicles with open trunks, visible cargo, and one or two guards.

  • Five vehicle choices, each with three cargo setups, add variety to roadside scenes.

  • Guards inspect the cargo, keep watch, and react to nearby players and threats.

  • Lockpick the driver door and bypass the ignition to claim the vehicle and receive a delivery route.

  • Meet the buyer using immersive dialogue, then watch them inspect the trunk, return to pay, and drive away with the vehicle.

  • Use ox_lib skill checks or optional W-Labs Minigames integration for the door and ignition, or add your own minigames through editable files.

Aircraft Crashes And Underwater Recovery

  • A smoking aircraft approaches and descends into the water at one of five configured locations.

  • Players discover the aircraft by hearing it's engine fly by, while it smokes and declines towards the ground.

  • Each crash selects an underwater chest or a suspended backpack as its shared recovery.

  • Chest recovery includes coordinated player, chest, and loot animations beneath the surface.

  • Recover a backpack, carry it ashore, and put it down to unpack the contents. Bags can also be dropped and picked up again.

  • Wreckage, bodies, and scattered debris create a scene around the recovery area.

  • Finished wrecks can remain as scenery while the system moves on to its next encounter.

Fleeing Shop Robbers

  • Encounter a thief already escaping from a completed robbery.

  • Includes 25 configured shop locations and escape routes.

  • Robber appearance is selected from a configurable model pool.

  • Threatening the robber with a firearm can turn the chase into a gunfight.

  • Search the defeated robber's body to claim the stolen cash, with optional item rewards.

Armoured Truck Interceptions

  • A Stockade and two armed guards travel along one of 10 configured routes.

  • Blocking or attacking the truck causes its crew to get out and defend it.

  • Defeat both guards and stop the truck to access the cash at its rear doors.

  • An animated collection sequence opens the cargo doors and loads cash into a duffel bag for a realistic robbing experience.

  • Receive the configured reward when collection finishes.

  • Customize the routes, guard equipment, driving speed, and rewards.

Automatic Scheduling And Configuration

  • One active encounter at a time across the server.

  • Configure encounter frequency, selection weights, minimum players, spawn distances, and location cooldowns.

  • Enable or disable individual encounter types.

  • Customize locations, models, guard behaviour, rewards, dialogue, and interaction timings.

  • Edit player-facing text through locale files.

  • Use admin commands to start specific encounter types and locations during setup.

  • Use money, items, or both as a reward.

Optional Police Dispatch

Built-in ps-dispatch support covers cargo break-ins, aircraft crashes, robber searches, and armoured truck panic calls. Configure alert chances, receiving jobs, priorities, and map settings. An editable dispatch bridge is included for custom dispatch scripts.

Optional W-Labs Labs Integration

With a compatible W-Labs Labs installation and the integration enabled, eligible cargo vehicles and aircraft backpacks can supply compatible player-owned or gang-owned labs. Vehicle deliveries include physically unloading the cargo and carrying it to the lab entrance. Join our discord to see updates and progress with our unreleased Lab script.

The integration also supports lab setup-equipment and requested resupply missions. Shipment contents determine which labs can receive them. W-Labs Labs is a separate, optional resource that will be released soon.

Compatibility And Requirements

  • Required: OneSync enabled and ox_lib.

  • Frameworks: Qbox, QB-Core, ESX, or Standalone.

  • Interactions: ox_target, qb-target, or qtarget, with keyboard fallback when no target provider is running.

  • Rewards: framework money rewards, optional ox_inventory item rewards, and support for custom reward handlers.

  • Standalone rewards: disable framework money rewards and configure item-only rewards with ox_inventory, or provide a custom reward handler.

  • Optional extras: ps-dispatch, W-Labs Minigames, and W-Labs Labs.

Fuel integrations include ox_fuel, LegacyFuel, and ps-fuel, with native fuel fallback. Vehicle-key integrations include qbx_vehiclekeys, qb-vehiclekeys, and mVehicle in its supported non-item mode. Editable bridges are included for adapting integrations to your server.
